An addition to expand a living room into a large family gathering space. A fireplace and chimney were added in a style and proportion appropriate to the overall house composition. Arched windows were borrowed from the logic of the arched front door and opening on the side fin wall. Large sliding glass doors with transoms were added to open the room to natural light and the view as shown below.
